Spring
- Lawn Care: The mowing season starts in late March.
- Mulch: Add, refresh, or replace mulch.
- Planting: Plant desired flower beds, ground covers, and trees.
- Shrub Pruning: Plant and prune shrubs in early spring.
- Landscape Lighting: Add, repair, or replace lighting to make your outdoor space stand out.

- Fencing: Install or repair in spring, summer, and fall. Wait until winter moisture dissipates to stain or paint.
- Hardscaping: Spring, summer, and fall are the best times for adding fire pits, decks, paver walkways, patios, stone garden walls, and stamped concrete.
Summer
- Lawn Care: Continue to mow and water as needed.
- Fencing: Install, repair, stain, or paint your fence. Stain or paint your wood fence every 2 to 3 years to protect it from Richmond’s climate.

- Debris Removal: As long as the ground is snow-free, remove leaves and debris to reduce spring cleanup.
