Are there watering restrictions in Los Angeles, CA?
The City of Los Angeles Water Conservation Ordinance limits outdoor watering with sprinklers to three days a week. Based on the last number of your street address, your watering days are as follows:
ODD: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
EVEN: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays
Run sprinklers with non-conserving nozzles for 8 minutes maximum per station. ALL outdoor watering is prohibited from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Does Los Angeles, CA have long / overgrown grass ordinances?
Since dry grass and weeds are the most likely fuel to start a fire, they should be cut or mowed to a height of 3 inches or less throughout the entire clearance area unless it is needed for soil stabilization.
