As identified in both MWSDβs and CUDβs drought management plan, these two utilities want to notify their customers that they are moving from Phase 1 β Drought Alert to Phase 2 β Voluntary Reductions. Continued drought may require additional focus on conservation. The goal under Phase 2 β Voluntary Reductions is for customers to reduce their monthly usage through conservation by 10%.
