Tracy, CA lawn care service at the click of a button

Tracy began in the mid-19th century with the construction of the railroad running from Sacramento through Stockton and to San Francisco. For a long time, it was an agricultural community.

The Grand Theatre for the Performing Arts carries on the musical tradition here, although in a more peaceful and orderly way. The sound system here is excellent and every seat in the house is good. The beautiful, historic theater was built in 1923, and hosts everything from pop concerts, to ballet and multicultural performances. On top of that, the theater has several fine art galleries that are free to the public.

Today, in addition to its somewhat affordable (by Bay Area standards) housing, the city is also known for the Tracy Hills wine region. The region runs along Interstate 205 in the San Joaquin Valley. While this young wine region hasn’t developed a signature wine yet, the small, boutique vintners produce Italian varieties, as well as French varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, syrah, and chardonnay. If you’d like to try some local chardonnay or petite syrah, the Ramon Rios winery on West Linne Road is where you need to go. Also on West Linne Road is the Windmill Ridge Winery; they produce a wide range of varieties, from red, white and blends.

The hills around here are always beckoning, and the Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area is a good place to go camping and play outdoors. There’s a campground with 23 sites, with picnic tables and fire rings, and if you like four-wheeling and off-roading, the trails here are good for all levels of skill. The recreation area on West Corral Hollow Road covers 1,300 acres of hills in eastern Alameda and San Joaquin counties.

The Legacy Fields Sports Complex is relatively new and still being developed. So far, there are nine softball fields and eight soccer fields, with more on the way. It’s a great place for you and your family and friends to get together and play a game or two.
