The South Florida Center and Aquarium features an 8,000 gallon salt water tank filled with species from throughout Florida. There's also a planetarium and an Everglades exhibit.
Another fun spot for the family is Rapids Water Park, which features a wave pool with six-foot waves, a lazy river, and 35 water slides. Stroll among 20 different gardens, including herb, fruit, palm, and citrus gardens. Don't forget about the butterfly garden.
The Norton Museum of Art, opened in 1941, is world famous due to its expansive collections of Chinese and European art. You'll also see works by Pollock, Matisse, Monet, and Picasso. Check out the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens to see over 100 of the artist's sculptures made between 1905 and 1982.
