Dethatching. There is so much old grass from last season, cut when it was tall, that there is a bed of it down at the ground. It keeps your yard from growing in spots and is really hard on my equipment. I will cut it a little lower than normal one time, hit the really bad spots with a rake to untangle, then go over it with this lawn sweeping machine I have that removes it from the lawn completely. The back and big side yard need it the most but front yard too, it has sticks bedded into it as well.
